Summary
Own-initiative report on gender aspects of the European framework of national Roma inclusion strategies. Amendments address discrimination, segregation and poor employability of Roma women, support education of Roma girls and combat early school-leaving, marriage and pregnancy, provide micro-loans and self-employment support, deliver gender-sensitive health and family-planning services, and promote labour-market participation through training, mentoring and positive action, citing literacy and enrolment data.
