An own-initiative report on an anti-missile shield for Europe and its political and strategic implications. The amendments discuss anti-missile and ballistic missile defence, nuclear proliferation and weapons of mass destruction, the threat from 'rogue' states and from Russia's Iskander-M deployment in Kaliningrad, NATO's BMD and the US contribution including installations in Romania and Poland, the EU-NATO partnership, talks with Russia and Iran, and defence spending cuts.
