Summary
This dossier is a report on an Action Plan for a competitive and sustainable steel industry in Europe. The amendments address export restrictions and duties on raw materials, ferrous scrap and recycling, trade defence and anti-dumping instruments, global steel overcapacity, corporate social responsibility in third countries, impact assessments before trade agreements, and a tripartite industrial policy approach drawing on the ECSC.
