EU strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian region

This own-initiative report sets out an EU strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian region (EUSAIR). Amendments stress European integration, regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations, governance mechanisms and the involvement of civil society, the EU accession process of South East Europe and Western Balkan countries, connectivity including the Adriatic-Ionian Corridor, sustainable tourism and the blue economy, coordinated use of financing instruments, and addressing irregular migration and cross-border crime.
