Summary

This dossier concerns negotiating a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with Turkmenistan. The amendments address conditioning ratification on measurable progress on human rights, including missing persons in prisons and access for independent observers, EU strategic interests in Central Asia, a Cooperation Council and Parliamentary Cooperation Committee with the Mejlis, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia, and an EU Delegation in Ashgabat.
