Summary
This own-initiative report concerns new territorial development tools in cohesion policy 2014-2020, namely integrated territorial investment (ITI) and community-led local development (CLLD). Amendments stress cohesion policy's potential for employment, growth and poverty reduction, combining ESF and ERDF, support and capacity building for regional and local authorities, better branding and visibility of the tools, the bottom-up approach, inclusion of urban areas, and less developed regions.
