Union action for the European capitals of culture for the years 2020 to 2033: inclusion of EFTA/EEA countries

A legislative dossier on Union action for the European Capitals of Culture for 2020 to 2033, extending it to EFTA/EEA countries. The amendments set conditions for cities in EFTA/EEA, candidate and potential candidate countries to compete for and host the title, amend the relevant Decision and the calendar, require transparency in candidate cities' costs, link participation to the Creative Europe Programme, and propose a Network of European Capitals of Culture.
