Summary

The dossier concerns European Capitals of Culture for 2020-2033. The amendments address the impact of lockdown measures on cultural venues, events and the cultural and creative sectors, the postponement or cancellation of events by the 2020 Capitals and uncertainty for the 2021 Capitals, and the possibility for designated cities to continue implementing their programmes following consultation with the cities and Member States concerned.
