EU resettlement framework
Legislative proposal establishing a Union Resettlement Framework for the resettlement of persons in need of international protection. The amendments revise the regulation's recitals on creating a stable, reliable framework as part of a well-managed migration policy, reducing divergences among national resettlement practices, providing legal and safe arrival to Member States, and discouraging irregular and dangerous journeys; some recitals are deleted.
