Summary
A legislative proposal to extend and technically enhance the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) and the European Investment Advisory Hub. The amendments dispute the fund's effectiveness in closing the investment gap, revise the composition and transparency of its Steering Board (members appointed by the Commission, the EIB and the European Parliament), and debate additionality, public investment and the Investment Plan for Europe; some reject the Commission proposal outright.
