Summary
This own-initiative report covers interpretation and implementation of the interinstitutional agreement on better law-making. The amendments address simplifying legislation and avoiding overregulation, impact assessments including on fundamental rights, the 'Think Small First' principle for SMEs, transparency and equal footing between Parliament, Council and Commission, delegated and implementing acts and technical standards, and Parliament's consent before provisional application of trade agreements.
