Summary
The dossier examines the role of fisheries-related tourism in the diversification of fisheries. Amendments distinguish forms such as pesca-tourism, ittitourism and recreational angling tourism, stress support for small-scale and artisanal fishing, eco-tourism and local communities, funding for refitting fishing vessels to tourism standards (including from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund), and the role of local action groups (FLAGs and LAGs).
