Summary
A budgetary decision on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in telecom hardware production in Sweden. Amendments address Sweden's entitlement to a contribution under the EGF Regulation, the application timeline, redundancies at Ericsson concentrated at sites including Kista, Katrineholm and Kumla, the profile of older blue-collar and white-collar workers, personalised retraining and job-search measures, gender balance, and the avoidance of double financing with other Union funds.
