Summary
The dossier concerns minimum income policies as a tool to tackle poverty. The amendments debate people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, Member States' budget deficits and cuts to social spending affecting public health, education, social security and housing, tax avoidance and tax evasion, income and wealth inequality, and whether minimum income policies, labour-market reforms or tax measures best reduce poverty.
