Summary
An own-initiative report on the implementation of Directive 2011/99/EU on the European protection order. Amendments invoke the Istanbul Convention and recognising stalking as a criminal offence, address gender-based and domestic violence against women, secondary victimisation, shelters and women's support services, awareness-raising and training, freedom of movement requiring EU-wide protection, with some amendments adding contested references to religiously inspired violence and Muslim women.
