Summary
The dossier concerns strengthening administrative cooperation in the field of value added tax. The amendments target cross-border and intra-Community VAT fraud linked to organised crime, strengthen administrative enquiries and the governance and tasks of Eurofisc, address abuse of customs procedure 42, cooperation with the European Public Prosecutor's Office, certified taxable persons, VAT refund requests, automatic exchange of information, and estimates of VAT losses.
