Reform of the European Union’s system of own resources

The dossier covers reform of the European Union's system of own resources. Amendments address the GNI- and VAT-based contributions, traditional own resources from customs duties and sugar levies, and rebate arrangements; examine the impact of free trade agreements and trade defence instruments; and propose new own resources such as a financial transaction tax, a common corporate tax base, and sustainability- and emission-based customs duties.
