Summary
This dossier is the annual report on human rights and democracy in the world for 2016 and the EU's policy on the matter. Amendments mostly add citations to international instruments such as CEDAW, the Istanbul Convention and guidelines on LGBTI persons, and revise a provision on the heightened risk of discrimination facing minorities, indigenous peoples, LGBTI persons, women, children, asylum seekers and migrants.
