Summary
This own-initiative report recommends to the Council, the Commission and the EEAS on cutting the sources of income for jihadists and targeting the financing of terrorism. The amendments cite instruments on money laundering and terrorist financing and revise recitals on terrorist revenue sources — occupation of territory, oil, kidnapping for ransom, looting of cultural heritage, drugs and arms trafficking, and tax havens — and on coordinated global responses.
