Summary
An own-initiative report on gender equality in the media sector in the EU. The amendments address the under-representation of women in journalism and at decision-making and board level, stereotypical and sexist portrayal of women, gender-based and sexual harassment including online abuse, the gender pay and pension gap, precarious work, childcare, work-life balance and collective bargaining.
