Summary
Report on the deliberations of the Committee on Petitions during 2016. Amendments revise recitals on the right to petition the European Parliament, the volume and admissibility of petitions, citizens' awareness, the Petitions Web Portal, the European Citizens' Initiative, fact-finding visits, the European Ombudsman's annual report, and main subjects of concern such as the internal market and fundamental rights.
