Summary
This dossier concerns cohesion policy and the objective of promoting sustainable transport and removing bottlenecks in key network infrastructures. The amendments address transport infrastructure funding through the Cohesion Fund, the European Regional Development Fund and the Connecting Europe Facility, completion of TEN-T networks, low project selection rates, alignment of Member States' needs with EU priorities, criticism of privatisation and Public-Private Partnerships, and modal shift toward rail and inland waterways.
