Summary
The dossier establishes the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking. The amendments address building a European High Performance Computing and Big Data ecosystem and pre-exascale and exascale infrastructure under Horizon 2020, the funding gap and dependence on foreign technology, supercomputers owned by the Joint Undertaking and hosting entities, access for academia, industry, SMEs and the public sector, governance bodies, competence centres, geographical balance, and data protection.
