Summary
A recast directive on open data and the re-use of public sector information. The amendments concern real-time access to dynamic data, the scope covering documents held by public undertakings of an industrial or commercial character and public service operators, exceptions, protection of personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation, an 'open by design and by default' principle, and re-use for the internal market and cross-border services.
