Summary
This dossier concerns fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediation services. The amendments revise recitals on online intermediation services and online search engines, business users and corporate website users, defining their scope (e-commerce marketplaces, software applications, social media, voice assistance services), aligning the search-engine definition, and setting mandatory rules on transparency, terms and conditions, redress for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and non-binding non-compliant terms.
