Summary

Legislative proposal on motor vehicles insurance. Amendments revise recitals and provisions on the scope of compulsory civil liability insurance and the meaning of 'use of a vehicle' following the Court of Justice's Vnuk, Rodrigues de Andrade and Torreiro rulings, on claims-history statements and a bonus-malus system, protection and reimbursement of traffic-accident victims including in insurer insolvency, exemptions for vehicles not in traffic, and minimum cover amounts.
