Summary

This dossier concerns the mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund to assist Bulgaria, Greece, Lithuania and Poland following natural disasters in 2017. The amendments express sympathy for the victims while debating whether countries should in principle bear the consequences of such disasters, and call for optimising the mobilisation procedure to shorten the time from application to payment for beneficiaries.
