EU/Senegal Fisheries Partnership Agreement: implementation of the Agreement. Protocol
This dossier concerns implementation of the Protocol to the EU/Senegal Fisheries Partnership Agreement. Amendments call for more information on industrial fishing, regional management of shared small pelagic stocks, a sustainable blue economy supporting small-scale local fisheries and the role of women and young people, protection of marine ecosystems including mangroves, transparency over EU sectoral funding, and Senegal's fishery exports to landlocked Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.
