Summary

A legislative-initiative report calling for a Digital Services Act to improve the functioning of the Single Market. The amendments focus on online platforms in the transport and tourism sector, the ageing e-Commerce Directive, gatekeeper companies and market concentration, platform liability and verification obligations, non-standard platform workers' conditions, interoperability and the case-law of the European Court of Justice.
