Summary

A dossier on the EU/Mauritania Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement and its Implementing Protocol. The amendments address overexploited shared stocks of small pelagic and black hake, fishmeal and fish-oil production, artisanal and small-scale fishers, food security and coastal communities, scientific data and transparency on catches and fishing licences, the sectoral support component, a zero reference tonnage for octopus, and the role of women in fish processing.
