Summary

The dossier is the annual report on human rights and democracy in the world and the EU's policy on the matter. Amendments revise paragraphs condemning discrimination, xenophobia, persecution and killings, address indigenous peoples, caste-based discrimination and LGBTIQ people, and cite international instruments including the ICCPR and the UN Declaration on human rights defenders.
