European Union Drugs Agency
The dossier establishes the European Union Drugs Agency, revising the mandate of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction. Amendments revise the Agency's governance, including the Management Board, Executive Director appointment, Scientific Committee and conflict-of-interest rules; they extend its focus from health to drug markets, supply, trafficking and drug-related crime, poly-substance use, cooperation with bodies such as Europol and CEPOL, and national focal points and data collection.
