2022/0095(COD)·9th term·ENVI / IMCO / ITRE·COD - Ordinary legislative procedure (ex-codecision procedure)·CompletedProcedure completed
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): MORETTI Alessandra (S&D)
Summary

Proposed regulation on ecodesign for sustainable products. Amendments invoke the European Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan and shape ecodesign performance and information requirements covering durability, recyclability, environmental and carbon footprint, substances of concern, microplastics and a product passport, while addressing SMEs, in-use data, market surveillance and a Commission prioritisation of product groups; one amendment rejects the Commission proposal.

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
