Sustainable use of plant protection products

2022/0196(COD)·9th term·AGRI / DEVE / ENVI·COD - Ordinary legislative procedure (ex-codecision procedure)·Lapsed / rejectedProcedure lapsed or withdrawn
Summary

The dossier concerns the sustainable use of plant protection products. Amendments rework the rules on permitting professional users to use these products in sensitive areas by way of derogation, varying the maximum duration and conditions (including risks from quarantine pests and invasive alien species), and revise Member States' authorities' obligations to gather information on acute and chronic poisoning incidents and occupational diseases from exposure to pesticides.

Plenary votes

50 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
