Strategic Compass and EU space-based defence capabilities
An own-initiative report on the Strategic Compass and EU space-based defence capabilities. The amendments cover the EU Space Programme and IRIS2, dual-use capabilities such as Galileo and Copernicus, the risk of weaponisation of outer space, space debris and anti-satellite missiles, dependence on non-European launchers, and reference UN treaties, the Versailles Declaration and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
