Company law: further expanding and upgrading the use of digital tools and processes
The dossier is a proposed Directive further expanding and upgrading the use of digital tools and processes in company law. The amendments address preventive administrative, judicial or notarial control to ensure reliable cross-border company data, legality checks and verification of founders, directors and beneficial owners, the 'once-only' principle, a harmonised EU Company Certificate, a digital EU power of attorney, interconnection of registers, and recognised electronic identification means.
