Summary

This dossier concerns the approval and market surveillance of non-road mobile machinery circulating on public roads. Amendments revise provisions on the EU type-approval system, the scope covering machinery capable of circulating on public roads, individual and national approvals and small-series production, definitions of non-road mobile machinery, risk, recall and withdrawal, training and unauthorized use, market surveillance authorities, and manufacturers' obligations.
