Proposal for a Framework Decision on a European evidence warrant for obtaining objects, documents and data for use in criminal proceedings. The amendments address coexistence with existing mutual assistance procedures, data protection rights, formalities required by the issuing authority, confidentiality, deadlines and grounds for postponement, the role of Eurojust, legal remedies for affected parties, and procedural rights and safeguards for the defence.
