Summary
The dossier concerns the special place for children in EU external action. The amendments call for children's rights to be a priority of EU development policy with reference to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, address child labour, trafficking, child soldiers and violence against children, education and the Millennium Development Goals especially for girls, fair-trade and labelling initiatives, juvenile justice, and prosecution before the International Criminal Court.
