Summary
This legislative proposal establishes the European citizens' initiative. The amendments adjust the rules for organising and supporting an initiative — the minimum number of Member States citizens must come from, the minimum age for signatories, the composition of the organising committee, registration on a Commission website, and the collection of statements of support on paper and online within a time-limit, with their verification by Member States.
