Global navigation satellite system (GNSS): rules for access to the public regulated service

The dossier sets rules for access to the public regulated service (PRS) of the Galileo global navigation satellite system. The amendments stress that the system is civilian under civilian control while noting PRS's role for weapon systems, address Competent PRS Authorities and receiver manufacture, access by non-member countries subject to the EU Code of Conduct on Arms Export, penalties and administrative measures, and the role of the European GNSS Agency.
