Summary
Report amending Parliament's Rules of Procedure (Rules 123 and 42) on written declarations and legislative initiatives. The amendments revise the rules on submitting and signing written declarations and proposals for Union acts under Article 225 TFEU, and debate the limited impact, quality, follow-up and future of written declarations, whether to restrict, develop or abolish them, and their value as a tool for citizens and Members.
