Summary
Own-initiative report on the online distribution of audiovisual works in the European Union. The amendments address fragmentation of the online market and licensing procedures, remuneration for rights-holders, collective rights management and a possible European database, piracy and the security of distribution platforms, net neutrality and cross-border access, and digitisation of cultural heritage including orphan works and the Europeana library.
