Summary
The dossier concerns collective management of copyright and related rights and multi-territorial licensing of rights in musical works for online use in the internal market. Amendments revise recitals and definitions on collecting societies, covering rightholders' choice of organisation, members' participation and voting, transparency and accountability, the management and distribution of rights revenue, licensing terms and tariffs for users, and multi-territorial licensing including repertoire databases and invoicing.
