Summary

This dossier concerns implementing enhanced cooperation in the area of a financial transaction tax. The amendments address allocating FTT revenues to the Union budget as an own resource, the initiative of the eleven participating Member States towards an EU-wide and global tax, the residence, issuance and transfer of legal title principles, the rights of non-participating Member States, exemptions such as public debt and market-making, and rejection of the Commission proposal.
