This dossier concerns payment accounts, covering comparability of fees, account switching and access to accounts with basic features. The amendments largely confine the switching service to within a single Member State, define the scope as consumer payment accounts (excluding business, savings and credit-card accounts), require standardised fee terminology set by national authorities, and assign roles to the European Banking Authority and regulatory technical standards.
