2013/0139(COD)·7th term·ECON / IMCO / JURI·COD - Ordinary legislative procedure (ex-codecision procedure)·CompletedProcedure completed
Summary
This dossier concerns payment accounts, covering comparability of fees, account switching and access to accounts with basic features. The amendments largely confine the switching service to within a single Member State, define the scope as consumer payment accounts (excluding business, savings and credit-card accounts), require standardised fee terminology set by national authorities, and assign roles to the European Banking Authority and regulatory technical standards.
