Summary
This is the 2013 implementation report on developing and applying carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology in Europe. The amendments debate whether CCS is needed to meet the EU's 2050 low-carbon aspirations, its application in industrial sectors such as steel, cement and metallurgy and in coal and gas power generation, public opposition, and proposals for CCS deployment targets and support measures.
