Summary

This dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for redundancies in the jewellery sector in Ireland. The amendments address a derogation from the 500-redundancies threshold given the impact on regional employment, personalised services co-financed for redundant workers and for young people not in employment, education or training (NEETs), upskilling and reintegration training, capping income support, and aligning measures with future labour-market needs and a sustainable economy.
