Summary

The dossier concerns an agreement on strategic cooperation in the fight against serious crime and terrorism between the United Arab Emirates and the European Police Office (Europol). Several amendments reject the Council draft and call on the Council not to adopt the decision until the new proposed Europol Regulation enters into force, and ask the Commission to assess the cooperation agreement's provisions thereafter.
