2015/2283(INI)·8th term·AFCO / ENVI / JURI·INI - Own-initiative procedure·CompletedProcedure completed
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): KARIM Sajjad (ECR)
Summary
This annual report concerns subsidiarity and proportionality in 2014. The amendments discuss the role of national parliaments and reasoned opinions, the subsidiarity control mechanism, transparency in decision-making, delegated acts, impact assessments, and the involvement of regional and local authorities and the Committee of the Regions, particularly in implementing environmental, public health and food safety policies, while criticising national 'gold-plating' of EU directives.
